All parking for the Superhero Scramble is located at Crabapple Lane Elementary School, 450 Crabapple Lane, Peachtree City, with complimentary golf cart shuttle through the woods to St. Paul Lutheran School. There is no on-site parking at St. Paul for race participants.
Race day packet pick-up is from 7:00-8:30am in the gymnasium. Alternate packet pick-up is Friday, September 29, 5:30-7:30PM in the gymnasium (please use the lower level entrance). A bag drop will be provided at St. Paul for runners and walkers to leave items while on the course. Following the race is the awards ceremony; Starbucks coffee, water, and light snacks will be provided.
The Superhero Scramble starts and finishes at the lower-level parking lot of St. Paul Lutheran School and winds along the scenic, tree-lined Peachtree City golf cart paths. It is a fast course, where many runners have set personal records. The Superhero Scramble 5K starts at 9:00AM, and the 1 mile walk/run starts at 9:05AM.
St. Paul Lutheran School (SPLS) is a non-profit, Christian school providing children and families with a Mother's Morning Out program, and Pre-K, Elementary and Middle School education. SPLS is blessed with the opportunity, created by the Peachtree City Rotary Club and the Peachtree City Running Club Elementary School Grand Prix Series, to combine a fundraising event with a family-oriented fun run, open to all ages and genders. All profits from the Superhero Scramble will go directly to the SPLS Parent Teacher League (PTL).
The SPLS PTL is a dedicated group of volunteers that organizes a number of special events and fundraisers, open to the community, including our annual Fall Carnival and Chili Cook-off. Funds raised by the PTL are used to purchase items such as mulch for our playgrounds, computer lab upgrades, AED Life Saving Devices, and classroom video projectors that enhance the overall experience our children receive while attending SPLS.
